Condolence to the "Daddy Cool": All Religious Prayers
A
condolence meeting and prayers of all religious background was conducted by Mahila
Jagaran Kendra – Rainbow Home on 2nd November, 2013 at the sad
demise of Mr. Ferd. Many eminent personalities such as; Father Philip Manthara,
Mr. Rupesh, Mr. Mukhtarul Haqu Mr. Sanjay, Ms. Neelu, the MJK –RH staffs and
the Koshish staffs were present in the meeting.
A
short history of Mr. Ferd’s life story and his unusual journey from being a
business consultant to
“Daddy Cool” of the urban deprived children of the Rainbow Home established by him in India was shared by Ms. Ragini (Home Management Coordinator) and Ms. Puja (Documentation Incharge). The candles were lit by Father and the children of Rainbow Home.

Thereafter,
the Father performed the religious ceremony of Christians for the peace of the
demised soul and told everyone that this is a special day in the Christian
community when the relatives of the deal souls pay homage to them all over the
world. Then, the Muslim prayer was conducted by Khatun for peace of the soul. And,
lastly “Vaishnav Jan” song was sung as a Hindu culture of praying so that the
soul may rest in peace.
Thereafter,
the children also paid homage to the demised soul offered flowers to the portrait.
